Haw Creek Elementary School students recently enjoyed a Glow Run filled with music, dancing, colorful lights, and plenty of fun.

Students from each grade level took turns hitting the course, where they made their way through a series of activities, including a limbo lap, dance breaks and other surprises along the way.

The glow-themed fun extended to what students wore and what they found along the course. Students sported shirts that glowed under the blacklights, while teachers handed out glow sticks, neon pom poms, and light-up foam sticks to keep the celebration going.

Buncombe County Schools Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Reed also made a special appearance to cheer on the students and join in the fun.

Between the music, dancing, and colorful glow, the event gave Haw Creek students a chance to get moving, have fun and enjoy a memorable day together.
