Students on stage in costumes singing and dancing.

This past spring the stage at Black Mountain Primary School (BMP) was transformed into the Hundred Acre Wood as the Primary Players brought the beloved story of “Winnie the Pooh” to life.

Group of students dressed up on stage singing and dancing.

Students stepped into the roles of Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin, Tiger, Piglet, Eeyore and other familiar friends for a production filled with adventure, laughter and plenty of heart. From colorful costumes and creative sets to memorable songs and scenes, the young performers gave their audience a special trip into the world of A.A. Milne’s classic characters.

The production gave third graders an opportunity to build confidence, practice teamwork and experience the excitement of performing in front of an audience. Behind the scenes, students and staff worked together to make sure every detail was ready when the curtain opened.

The Primary Players’ production was more than a performance - it was a celebration of creativity, friendship, and the arts at BMP.
