PE students in Jennifer Corbin’s class at North Buncombe High School put their creativity and teamwork to the test by designing and building their very own putt-putt course.

Instead of simply practicing their golf skills, students became course designers, using PE equipment and other materials to create unique holes filled with fun challenges and obstacles. Each group worked together to plan their hole, set it up, and make sure it was ready for their classmates to play.
Once the course was complete, students grabbed their putters and took turns making their way through the student created courses. The activity gave students a chance to practice coordination, patience, and putting skills while also encouraging teamwork and problem solving.
It was a fun way to bring creativity into physical education and showed that PE is about much more than staying active - it’s also about working together, trying something new, and having fun while learning!
