A little rain couldn’t stop Johnston Elementary School from connecting with its community! 

For Community Day, Johnston staff visited nearby communities that the school serves, giving students and families a chance to reconnect before the new school year. Despite the rainy weather, everyone still came out to enjoy snow cones, smiles, and time together. 

This tradition is a great opportunity for Johnston staff to meet families right in their neighborhood and remind students that the Johnston Elementary community extends far beyond the school walls. 

Rain or shine, the Mighty Bears know how to have a great time together.
