Two boys competing against each other on solving a multiplication problem.

Third graders at Candler Elementary School put their math skills to the test this past spring during an exciting multiplication tournament!

As students prepared to wrap up third grade and gear up for their fourth grade year, they worked hard to study and master their multiplication facts. The friendly competition gave students a fun way to strengthen their skills while cheering on their classmates.

The excitement went beyond the math problems. Each class selected its own unique colors and tie-dyed white shirts to wear during the tournament, filling the competition with plenty of color and spirit.

After lots of studying, teamwork and multiplication challenges, Mrs. Fox and Mrs. Noguera’s class came out with the win!

Congratulations to all of Candler Elementary’s third graders for working hard, supporting one another and making learning fun. These students are multiplying their knowledge and are ready to take on fourth grade!
