Students from Buncombe County Early College (BCEC) and Buncombe County Center for Career Innovation (BCCI) came together on Earth Day to celebrate sustainability and environmental stewardship.

A-B Tech hosted its annual Earth Day Celebration with drumming, obstacle courses, food, and sustainability-focused informational booths from campus clubs and local businesses. BCEC and BCCI students got the college campus experience while sharing the experience together.

“Our students enjoy the opportunity to participate in hands-on interactive learning,” said BCEC and BCCI principal Anna Austin. “We believe these activities foster a sense of empowerment allowing our students to feel they are making a positive impact.”
