A Buncombe County Schools educator is being honored for his own scholastic accomplishments.
James Michael Sapp, who has served this school year as a principal fellow intern at Oakley Elementary and Eblen Intermediate, has received Western Carolina University’s Don Chalker Award for Excellence in Educational Leadership. The award is presented to an outstanding student in the Masters of School Administration program who excels in scholarship and demonstrates great promise in the field of school administration.
