Colorful paper, bright markers, and big ideas filled the classroom and hallways at Charles D. Owen Middle School as students put their creativity to work for National Random Acts of Kindness Week.

With messages like “You Matter,” “Choose Kind,” and “Be the Reason Someone Smiles Today,” students designed posters that would soon line the hallways, cafeteria, and common areas throughout the school. Each poster carried a simple but powerful goal - remind every Warcolt who walked by that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Students worked together, sharing supplies and brainstorming ways to spread positivity. Some added hand-drawn hearts and uplifting quotes, while others created bold, eye-catching designs meant to stop classmates in their tracks and brighten their day.

Teachers said the activity was about more than art - it was about building a culture where kindness is seen, felt, and practiced daily. At Owen Middle, Random Acts of Kindness Week is something that could be seen, felt in the classrooms, and carried with you long after the week is over.
