Santa and Mrs. Claus ride in their sleigh and wave along the parade route

Macy’s may have its big balloons and showstopping tunes, but 34th Street can’t compete with the joyful school spirit of the A.C. Reynolds High School Holiday Parade on Rocket Drive.

For the last four years, the Rockets have come together for the parade in the last 30 minutes leading up to winter break. This year’s event was led by BCS Superintendent Dr. Rob Jackson and Reynolds math teacher Brian Barnhouse, followed by the Reynolds Fire Department. 

Dr. Jackson and Mr. Barnhouse ride in a golf cart in front of a Reynolds Fire Dept. fire truck“It’s a beautiful sight to see all the green and gold, along with all the smiles along the parade route,” said Reynolds High School principal Ben Alexander. “Our students work hard to make the parade joyful for everyone. It’s an amazing way to celebrate the holidays with our school family.”
