The halls of Buncombe County Schools Central Services were filled with holiday cheer when second grade students from Leicester Elementary arrived to spread Christmas joy through song. Dressed in festive gear and full of excitement, the students gathered in the minitorium, where their cheerful voices echoed through the space and brought smiles to everyone in attendance. Their performance created a warm, joyful atmosphere and was a special treat for the Central Services team.

Following their performance, the students shared another heartfelt gesture by handing out holiday sun catchers they had made themselves. These colorful creations added an extra touch of brightness and served as a reminder of the students’ thoughtfulness and creativity.

The day of giving continued as the students traveled to a local nursing home, where they caroled once more. Their voices and handmade gifts brought joy, comfort, and holiday spirit to residents and staff alike. Through music, kindness, and creativity, the Leicester Elementary second graders beautifully demonstrated the true meaning of the season—sharing joy and spreading cheer wherever they go. 🎄✨
