North Buncombe Elementary students took part in a run that makes getting dirty part of the fun. 

A puff of pink powder floats toward a group of run club members dressed in white t-shirts running around the trackStudents in the school’s running club participated in its first-ever Color Run. Members, dressed mostly in white, made six laps around the ball field, running through clouds of colorful powder at every turn. By the end of the near mile-long event, students laughed as they compared how their clothing had been transformed since the start of the race.
