Large group of students on stage singing for Leadership Day.

Leadership Day at Emma Elementary was a celebration of growth, learning, and leadership. As a proud Leader in Me school, Emma students eagerly welcomed families into their classrooms to showcase how they are developing leadership skills through the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Parents listening to a student tell them about their project.

Throughout the day, students confidently explained how they take responsibility for their actions, set goals for their future, and manage their time wisely. Parents watched as children demonstrated what they’ve been working hard on.

Art displays lined the hallways, featuring collaborative projects that highlighted the power of teamwork. Whether leading presentations, giving tours, or engaging in conversations with visitors, students demonstrated confidence, responsibility, and a sense of purpose.

By the end of the day, families left with a clear understanding of how the Leader in Me program is helping students become thoughtful, motivated leaders - both in the classroom and beyond.
