Pisgah Elementary School came together Friday to celebrate their first Club Day since Hurricane Helene, making a joyful return to a sense of normalcy. Students had the opportunity to choose from a variety of clubs, including basketball, coloring and drawing, puzzles, Legos, board games, cards, and more.
Teachers, staff, and even the school’s resource officer joined in on the fun, along with a group of Enka High School seniors who volunteered to help out, adding excitement and energy to the day. Principal Chad Upton, who led the basketball club, expressed his excitement.
“It’s amazing to be back together again,” he said.
For many students, the day offered a chance to engage in their favorite activities with friends and staff. This time was a wonderful opportunity for students to reconnect, try something new, and have fun!
